Windows

These are the windows on the building across from my studio. Only at certain times of the day can these reflections be seen. So many things like that. My glass, love, who we really are, making sense of "it". The light has to be just right. It's not that we don't see stuff without the right light, it's just that, it's not as clear or as beautifully alive.

Ouch

So the fall was not so eensy beensy. As the day went on my shoulder got more and more painful and by bedtime, excruciating. So I went to see my doc. She got it x-rayed and we'll see. Ouch.

Still started the firing of the pressed glass to fire polish. Should have taken pictures. Next time. This is gonna be cool.

90° ???!!!! Ridiculous. This is Seattle!

Last week I took a picture of the Prince surveying his domain. And I share

Eye Candy

Google's been buggy and just figured out how to create a new page in the blog. Now I'm too involved in other stuff to write much.

And I fell. :::kinda pouty face::: I have a skinned elbow and knee. The cool thing is I feel like I'm about 7!!

Eye Candy
will be online soon

Inlakesh - Talisman of the Awareness of Connection

Inlakesh. It's an Australian peoples word meaning "I am you yourself." It's not even posted yet. Soon.

Beth is meditating, Felix is at summer camp for a couple of days and I... am on vacation. Haven't invited the sweet heart who would spontaneously house sit to come be with the kitties and chickens, but that could happen.

I think about driving over to the ocean or up into the mountains but I just can't pry myself away from the surprises that keep erupting from within the walls of the studio. It's a constant explosion of newness, wonderment, problem solving and sheer joy.

So grateful. So blessed. And I've heard that if someone follows me on my new twitter account my life will be absolutely complete.

We'll see.

Now I've Done It....

....Twitter. Jeesh. I think it was one of those things I said "never" to and now look. I have a twitter account and an app on my etsy site that AUTOMATICALLY twits (I'm sure that's incorrect and will get someone out there twitterpated) every 3 hours from my etsy items. I'm flabbergasted at I my ongoing geekness and willingness to delve into social media for my art. But there you have it.

I'm in love with my work and all the new things I'm learning. In November I'm taking a Faux Bone workshop. :::smiling::: Sweet!!

Here's a new piece. I call it Sacred Offering. A kind of 2 dimensional chalice, vessel.
